Brij Madan is a management consultant, business development specialist and entrepreneur. He graduated with a BS in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate Business School at Columbia University, New York. His early corporate experience began in London, where he worked for several years in the European consultancy environment, with leading business advisory and publishing houses such as The Economist Intelligence Unit, and boutique firms that were carrying out early pioneering research on the coming globalization of world markets.

Later he started a management consultancy office in New York for his British employer, to service a growing US client base. He was eventually recruited as Business Development VP by Racor Industries, a world leader in specialized vehicle components and since then, a unit of a large global industrial company, Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE:PH). He developed a long-range strategic direction for his employer that was instrumental in developing the company into a major market player in its niche for many years to come. Brij carried out small acquisitions for Racor to broaden the product line, and then assisted the owner in divesting to a major corporation.

Thereafter, he operated his own industry-specific consultancy firm, with a staff of business analysts and researchers in the United States and overseas, assisting senior executives at small and large clients in different aspects of business development, including market research, corporate strategy, and mid-market mergers and acquisitions.

Brij’s consulting activities have an international reach, with clients in the USA, Europe, Asia and South America.
